Om has given SONA to Mr. Suresh Gupta with the blessings of his father Sri G.K. Gupta who had encouraged him to explore the creativity associated with Om.

Since then, SONA has become synonymous with each and every part of a bicycle. 35 years in the life of SONA is a mixed bag of experiences; sweet and sour. Even after this, the company did not lose faith in itself and increased its strength from hurdles to hurdles.
